The new Thundercats Movie is highly speculative. What everyone has seen is the popular youtube clip. It was a fan made trailer edited in Adobe Premiere. It is unlikely that a live action film will be produced, but there is at least one cartoon re-make in progress.
Invariably I find lots of talk about the new movie, but no real content about its production. I cannot see that there is any sort of script about the thundercats movie. I wouldn't completely rule out a live action film, but don't hold your breath. Then again stranger things have happened, like that ridiculous Dragonball Z: Evolution movie.
